Three-Layer Dome Tent Insulation: Improved Comfort and Efficiency.
Designed exclusively for our dome tents, this three-layer insulation system combines the benefits of several existing materials into one practical solution. It is installed inside the dome structure and helps improve overall temperature balance, providing reliable year-round comfort and a more pleasant interior environment for living or guest stays.
Layer Composition
Outer Layer – Reflective Bubble Foil: Faces the PVC dome cover and helps regulate temperature by reflecting heat back inside during colder months and reducing solar heat gain during warmer weather. It also prevents moisture from entering the insulation.
Middle Layer – 0.6’’ (15 mm) Sound-Dampening Insulation: Adds an extra layer of thermal resistance and airflow, helping balance interior temperatures and improve comfort.
Inner Layer 0.3’’ (8 mm) Quilted Synthetic Fabric: The visible finish inside the dome is available in a selection of colors. It provides additional insulation, has a soft interior look, and is easy to wipe or spot-clean.
Custom Fit
Each insulation layer is made according to your custom dome plan, with openings for doors, panoramic windows, vents, and stove jacks.
For larger dome tents, the insulation is divided into two or three overlapping sections to reduce weight and make handling easier during installation.
For our smaller domes, this insulation comes as one piece with all custom openings included.

Our dome tent prices include brokerage, applicable duties, and import taxes, as well as shipping and handling fees up to your local warehouse or to a physical address accessible for commercial transport in Canada, New Zealand, Australia, or the contiguous United States.
The exceptions for each country are as follows:
● For the USA: Excludes Alaska, Puerto Rico, Hawaii, and other territories.
● For Canada: Excludes Newfoundland and Labrador, the Territories, and Prince Edward Island.
● For New Zealand: available within the Auckland area; other destinations require a special quote; NZ GST and import tariffs are not included.
● For Australia: available within zip codes 2, 3, and 4; other destinations require a special quote.
Please note:
● We typically offer door-to-door delivery. However, if a customer’s location cannot be accessed by a commercial truck, we may arrange for pickup at the nearest available warehouse. In such cases, a docking fee may apply at the warehouse, and a disposal fee may be charged if crate or garbage disposal is required.
● Delivery to New England states (Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, and Vermont) may require up to an additional 14 days due to geographical location and logistical considerations.
● Delivery time: Typically, it takes 9–12 weeks from the moment you place your order with us to receive your dome tent.
● This product is exclusively available for purchase alongside a dome tent. For customers opting to purchase this product separately at a later date, shipping costs will apply.
